I’m kind of surprised, but the odor is gone. I kept wondering if I was just imagining it or being too hopeful, but nope, the bathroom really does smell so much better now. Seriously love it

"Granules ended up being cheaper than I expected"
I’ll admit, I was sure the replacement granules were going to be one of those sneaky ongoing costs. But they haven’t been bad at all. They last longer than I expected, and I’m not constantly hauling bags of litter home anymore. I don’t love admitting it, but for the mess it cuts down on and the fewer store trips, it’s actually been worth it

"Took a while to hear back, but they did help"
Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like the response time was slow. I had to follow up twice before support got back to me. Once they finally replied, though, they were helpful and sorted things out

"My cat got used to it quicker than I expected"
I felt a little pressured to make this work since I’d already talked myself into trying it and didn’t want it to be a whole stressful thing. I was worried my cat would completely hate it, but she started using the CatGenie after about a day. I kept her old litter box nearby just in case, and thankfully she ended up choosing this one on her own. No accidents or drama so far.

"My CatGenie started having problems while it was..."
My CatGenie started having problems while it was still under warranty, getting help was frustrating. The replies came in slowly, and I felt like I had to explain the same issue more than once. They did eventually respond and try to help, but the whole tone of the support felt a bit indifferent, like it wasn’t really being treated as a priority. In the end, it got addressed, but the process definitely wasn’t as smooth or reassuring as I expected

"Setup took a little more effort than I expected"
So... getting it set up wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t as easy as I hoped. The instructions were helpful overall, but I had to go back and reread a few sections, and the water hookup ended up taking me longer than expected. It’s working fine now, I just wish the initial setup had been a bit smoother.

i mean, it works well when it’s running smoothly, but it does jam more often than I’d like. It’s not terrible, just not as reliable as I was hoping.

I ended up having to return my CatGenie, and the process was straightforward. Support got back to me quickly, and from the tone of their emails, I could tell they were trying to be helpful and keep things moving. My refund showed up in about a week, which was reasonable. My only real gripe is that the shipping part could’ve been faster...

"I thought the cleaning cycle might feel..."
I thought the cleaning cycle might feel way too long, but for me it’s been totally fine. It seems to run just long enough to get everything cleaned properly, and my cat goes back to using it without making a fuss. I usually just set it to run when we’re not around much, so it hasn’t been an issue. So far, I’m happy with it.

"Refund was super easy tbh"
I had to send back my CatGenie, and tbh the refund process was way easier than I expected. Support got back to me fast, and the money was back in my account within a few days. No hassle at all, lol.

"Easy enough, but not super smooth"
Not gonna lie, Catgenie.com was easy to use for the basic stuff. I was able to find the main info and ordering details without much hassle, and the pages loaded just fine for me.

That said, a few parts felt a little clunky, and I ended up clicking around more than I thought I’d need to. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not quite as smooth or straightforward as it could be.

I got the CatGenie because I was fed up with dealing with clogs and messy cleanups. To be fair, it does help a lot compared to what I was dealing with before, and the cleaning part is definitely less gross. But I feel like all the promises about it being super easy or hands-off are a little vague. You still have to check on it, and if you slack at all, things can get stuck or backed up. It’s not a bad product, but it’s not the totally worry-free fix I thought I was getting

"Shipping was quicker than I thought"
I ordered from CatGenie the shipping was faster than I expected. I got the tracking info the next day, and who doesn’t appreciate not having to wonder where their order is?

The box arrived in good shape, and everything was in there like it should be. It even showed up a little earlier than the original date, so how could I complain about that?

I’m giving it 4 stars because the tracking didn’t really update for about a day, which was a little annoying. But overall, the order went smoothly and I’d say it was a easy experience

"Still going strong after... a few years?"
I've had my CatGenie for a few years now, or maybe longer, I kind of lost track, but it's still working great. Not having to scoop every single day has been such a relief, and that alone makes it worth 5 stars for me

"Finally done with scooping"
I didn’t realize how much I hated scooping until I didn’t have to do it anymore. It’s such a small daily thing, but not dealing with it has made me feel so much less annoyed and more relaxed at home. Totally worth it for the relief alone.

"I don’t really trust it anymore"
I really wanted the CatGenie to be worth it, especially for the price, but it’s been more hassle than I expected. It clogs way too often, and having to take parts apart and clean them is gross and time-consuming. The idea is great, but after dealing with it so much, I’ve kind of lost trust that it’s actually going to make my life easier. Instead of feeling like a break from litter box chores, it just feels like a different chore I have to keep babysitting.

"Showed up quicker than expected"
My CatGenie order got here sooner than I figured it would, which was a nice surprise. The box looked clean and intact, no weird dents or leaks, and everything inside was packed the way you’d hope. Nothing was missing, nothing was damaged, so I really didn’t have anything to complain about on the delivery side.
